Wide steps lead down from the Alpsteinstube into the underground vaults, which are set into the hilltop of the Gupf. The extensive cellar complex was planned ahead to allow for a large capacity and was newly built in 1998.
Currently, around 30 000 bottles of European wine are stored at an optimum temperature and ventilation in our cellar, of which 80 percent are red wine.
