Our Restaurant is situated at one of the most outstanding points in East Switzerland. Nearly a fairy-tale: A sea of flowers around you in summer or a sparkling winter wonderland.
No less than 11 hectares of our own property surrounds the “Gasthaus zum Gupf”. The tenant in charge of our farming is Albert Zähner. He has great expertise in the traditional breeding of cattle and especially our pigs. Cattle and calves graze in wide open fields.
No animal is tethered, all the forage is absolutely natural – a point of honour for the “Gupf”. The result will inspire you, whether you choose to sample our home smoked ham and bacon or our beef.
